Winners at the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2024/2025;

Gold Award for ‘Restaurant of the Year’.

This is our second year in a row being a finalist in this ever competitive category. Having narrowly missed the top spot last year, we were so thrilled that our signature restaurant Fallowfields restaurant was crowned this years winner of ‘Restaurant of the Year.’

The quality of restaurants and food offering across Cornwall is so high, we do not take this award lightly. It is a complete privilege.

Awards organiser, Robin Barker shared: “It’s always fabulous to celebrate the very best in Cornish tourism. Businesses that whatever the challenge continue to keep Cornwall at the fore in terms of service, innovation, accessibility and sustainability. Congratulations to each and every winner.”

Silver Award for ‘Small Hotel of the Year.’

Each year the Cornwall Tourism Awards changes their criteria within each category to reflect the innovation and changes in the tourism industry. This year there was a particular focus to accessibility, mental health, environment, and community.

We are so honoured to have won the Silver Award in this category. We are so proud of our wonderful Housel team, and this achievement is a testament to their amazing work.

Robin Barker, awards organiser commented: "I am blown away by the resilience of these businesses, not just continuing to operate in these difficult times but continuing to excel, invest and innovate."
